Overview
The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty introduces you to the skills, planning, and equipment required to safely conduct dives beyond the no-decompression limits. You’ll learn how to use dive computers for decompression management, gas planning, and safety stop procedures, preparing you for more advanced and technical dive profiles.
Under the supervision of DiveGurus instructors, you’ll practice ascent control, time management, and proper use of redundant gas systems during your open water training dives around Boracay’s deeper sites.
Course includes:
Theory and dive planning sessions
Two to three open water dives with staged decompression
Certification upon completion
Access to the SSI app and digital learning materials
Use of full scuba equipment (including redundant air source)
Boat transfers to dive sites
Prerequisites:
SSI Deep Diver certification (or equivalent)
Minimum age 15 years
Good health and strong buoyancy control
