You can begin with the SSI Try Scuba program, a quick and easy introduction that lets you experience breathing underwater under the close supervision of an instructor. If you want to get certified, the SSI Open Water Diver course is the best place to start. It’s an internationally recognized certification that allows you to dive up to 18 meters anywhere in the world.

Children as young as 8 years old can join our Try Scuba for Kids or Scuba Rangers programs. To become a certified diver through the Open Water Diver course, the minimum age is 10 years old.

The Open Water Diver course usually takes three to four days to complete. We keep our class sizes small and schedules flexible so you can learn at your own pace while still enjoying your time on Boracay.

Boracay has dive sites for all experience levels, from calm coral gardens to deeper reef walls and wrecks. Most sites are 10 to 15 minutes by boat, with warm water averaging 28°C to 30°C and visibility between 15 and 30 meters. Diving is great year-round, with the clearest conditions from October to May.

You don’t need to be an expert, but you should feel comfortable in the water. Scuba students must complete a short swim and float test during training. Freedivers benefit most from relaxation and good breathing, not speed or distance.

Diving is possible all year, but the dry season (October to May) offers the calmest seas and best visibility. During the habagat season (June to September), we dive on the island’s east side, which stays sheltered from the wind.

Absolutely! Many of our guests are first-timers. Our instructors will guide you step by step, making sure you’re comfortable before exploring the reef. It’s safe, fun, and a great way to experience the ocean for the first time.

You’ll find colorful reef fish, turtles, moray eels, and schools of jacks and barracudas. Macro fans can spot nudibranchs, shrimps, and seahorses, while freedivers often enjoy the calm of the reef walls surrounded by tropical fish.

We’re located right on White Beach, Station 3, just a short walk or tricycle ride from D’Mall. The nearest airport is Caticlan (MPH), about 10–15 minutes by van and boat from the island.
