Laurel Island
Starting depth: 5 meters
Maximum depth: 20 meters
Just off the northern tip of Boracay, Laurel Island is actually two sites, Big Laurel and Small Laurel, both offering beautiful, sloping reefs rich in coral and marine life. Big Laurel features a scenic swim-through tunnel adorned with soft corals and home to colorful nudibranchs, while Small Laurel boasts fields of branching corals and dense schools of reef fish.
The reef walls here are alive with anthias, parrotfish, butterflyfish, and wrasses. Macro enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy, from shrimp and crabs to ornate nudibranchs and flatworms. Occasional sightings of turtles and blue-spotted rays make dives here even more rewarding.
With its healthy coral cover, gentle conditions, and excellent visibility, Laurel Island is a favorite for both beginner and advanced divers looking for a relaxed yet scenic underwater experience
