Overview
The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Course takes your diving knowledge further by preparing you to recognize, prevent, and respond to stressful situations underwater. This course is designed to build your confidence, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, making you a safer diver for yourself and others.
Over the course, you’ll practice rescues, self-rescue techniques, assisting other divers, and managing real scenarios under guided supervision. The training includes theory, confined water practice, and three open water training dives in Boracay’s reef environments.
Boracay’s accessible dive sites and varied conditions provide the right setting to learn reaction, planning, and rescue skills with support and clarity.
Course includes:
3–4 days of training
Theory and confined water sessions
3 open water training dives
Certification upon completion
Access to SSI app and digital learning materials
Use of full scuba equipment
Boat transfers to dive sites
Prerequisites:
SSI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
Minimum age 12 years old
Good health, comfort in water, and ability to swim
